Y’all we have been all about finding the coolest playgrounds for our little guy this year and since we are a little over half way through the year I thought I would share my top 5!
These aren’t in any particular order as they are all super cool and offer different types of play! The one thing they do have in common is that Thomas could play there for hours!
⭐️The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom Park in Disney World- this playground is MASSIVE! It offers slides, climbing, a dig area, and so much more! It’s great because the majority of it is covered and has a few seating options for adults. You can also bring a beverage in so we love to go at night and close down the park here!
⭐️Welleby Park in Sunrise FL- okay we loved this one so much we went back a second time and it’s a little over 2 hours from our home! They have an entire little town for the kids to bike or run around, plus two playgrounds, a splash pad, and lots of grassy open space! I highly recommend bringing lunch or snacks because you will want to stay all day!
⭐️Frank E Mackle park in Marco Island FL- this park offers a gigantic playground complete with a rocket, and little kids matching playground! I love the fence around this one as there is only one exit for little ones. There is also a small splash pad that can be turned on as you want! This park also offers lot of room to play as well as a walking track!
⭐️Cambier Park in Naples FL- this playground is one block over from 5th street which makes it great for parents that want to enjoy what Naples has to offer and let their kids get their energy out! I love to stop for coffee before heading over! The playground offers a little kid and big kid side- both which are massive! It’s fenced in next to a lawn where they offer concerts and a large selection of tennis courts!
⭐️Project Swing Park in St Augustine FL- this seems to be a new playground that is close to downtown. This playground offers lots of space to climb and run. There is also a good amount of slides!
Have you been to any of these?
Until next time,
Catherine
